Gosheni Safaris is a safari operator based in Tanzania, established in 2009 by Peter Robert. Over the years, we have provided countless remarkable experiences of authentic Africa. We have changed thousands of lives by introducing tourists to the continent that brought them happiness, learnings and priceless memories. We ought to continue to improve our craft, as customer satisfaction and wellness of our employees are our top priorities. Years of operation honed our expertise in providing tours to different parts of Africa especially in Tanzania. With our passion and our sincere desire to offer highly-satisfying tours, we remained competitive in the industry for many years. Safari Options
We offer a wide range of excellent safari options. You can choose between tour packages, or you can customize your tour with the help of our team. Make your safari dream come true with us, and witness stunning African landscapes, diverse cultures, encounter wildlife and do various activities. Despite offering an authentic African experience, we don't compromise the comfort of our clients.
Alterations to tours
The right is reserved to change any route or arrangements should conditions require to offer substitutes of equal value or to cancel the operation of any scheduled safari. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time, in which event a reasonable amount will be refunded.
Incentive Travel
We also arrange for incentive travel packages, for your employees, affiliates, or partners at reasonable costs.
Departures
All our african safaris depart daily and are based on a minimum of 2 persons. Prices will be lower with 3 or more participants. Please advise us of the number travelling when you make an enquiry so that we can provide you with an accurate quotation.
Transportation
Gosheni Safaris is one of the few companies that has its own fleet of vehicles. These are 7-seater custom safari Land Cruisers with pop-up roof for game viewing and sight-seeing. The vehicles are well maintained for comfort and safety. Each unit is equipped with HF long range radios for easy communication
Accomodation
Accommodation options range from 3 to 5 star lodges depending on your budget and preferences. In the same way, we can offer campign options from the most basic and adventurous to luxury tented camps.

Our Guides
Safari guides are a crucial part of a successful safari. Hence, we invest in regular training to keep our guides abreast of customer service standards and to ensure that the highest standards are achieved. All our guides are fluent and articulate in conversational English and some can converse in other foreign languages including, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. With their help, our clients will learn about African wildlife as well as acquiring first-hand experience of African hospitality.
Our Responsibilities
- Provide briefing on your safari tour before prior to departure
- In-charge of driving the safari vehicle made especially for game viewing.
- All our guides are well-trained in tracking wildlife
- Provide information about each parks visited, animals spotted, and all other educational and interesting information about African Wildlife in general. Our guides also have an intensive knowledge of the local African flora and fauna, geography and animal behavior patterns.
We are very proud of our safari team and they are introduced here. Our team aim to ensure that every client ends their tour with wonderful memories. In addition, for certain tours we can offer guides with specialist skills and knowledge at an additional cost ranging from USD 40 to 90 per day, per group.
Our safari vehicles have been customized to provide optimum safari experience
We have our own fleet of vehicles; a mix of 4 and 7 seater custom safari vehicles. Each unit is equipped with hatched roofs and sliding windows most ideal for game viewing, sightseeing, and taking professional photographs. These are all crucial for a memorable safari tour experience. Vehicles are washed and sanitized before departure and are regularly maintained by a professional mechanic to ensure safety and security.
All passengers are allotted a window seat and have enough space to move around comfortably. This is crucial when spending up to 10-hours a day of game viewing from the vehicle.
FIRST AID KIT
Every safari vehicle is equipped with a first aid kit. Our guides are trained to use this in case of emergencies.
WILD LIFE BOOKS AND MAPS
You will find a set of books and guides about mammals and birds. There are maps of the area as well.
Spare Tires and Heavy-Duty Jack
We carry two spare tires and a heavy-duty jack. Having two spares is better than having one due to poor roads in some areas, and presence of acacia thorns among others.
